Koah Sports and Social Club grounds are open to the public to come and play tennis or enjoy the Nature Playground.
The Queensland Government last year provided $7,500 to Koah Sports and Social Club for the Get going Sport and Recreation Program
to increase Queenslander participation in sport and recreation activities. The hall has used the grant to improve its sporting facilities, there are two wooden chests at the end of the verandah which house tennis rackets, balls, net, frisbees, basket balls, footballs and more.
Bikes and scooters have been donated by various community members - thank-you all!
The grant also equipped the hall with a competition table tennis table, bats and balls, cricket sets, volleyball net and ball, badminton, and football equipment, and more.
The grant also paid for the materials for the new skate ramp that is now on the court.
The items in and around the court are for community use and are available to all.
